Joining the network takes three minutes to create an account and less than 24 hours for AmiPharm’s team to validate the pharmacy. Once active, the pharmacy can publish surplus inventory to the shared catalogue — particularly useful for medications nearing their expiry date — and simultaneously search for products they themselves are missing. The ordering process is fully digital: the buyer selects a seller, confirms quantity, and the two pharmacies communicate and arrange delivery directly through the platform. Every step of the transaction, from order placement to delivery confirmation, is tracked.

The AMO (Assurance Maladie Obligatoire) checker is a distinctive feature. It allows pharmacies to instantly verify whether a given medication is covered under Mali’s mandatory health insurance scheme, and to calculate the reimbursement amount a patient is entitled to. This removes a significant barrier to treatment adherence: patients who previously abandoned prescriptions because they could not afford the full price can now see exactly what their insurance will cover.

For day-to-day operations, the analytics dashboard gives each pharmacy a clear view of their inventory health. Low-stock alerts trigger automatically before items run out. Price history charts track the cost of medications across the network over time, helping pharmacy managers make informed purchasing decisions. Weekly summaries break down sales performance, fastest-moving products, and stock turnover rates. A promotions module enables any pharmacy to broadcast special offers to the full network, clearing slow-moving inventory before it expires.
